Welcome to IEEE NZ Joint Chapter in Signal Processing and Information Theory (SP/IT)

The Joint Chapter is the newest chapter in NZ which was established in early 2015. The Joint Chapter consists of the IEEE members in New Zealand who belong to either the IEEE Signal Processing Society or the IEEE Information Theory Society. The Chapter covers all three sections in NZ, i.e. North, Central, and South, and each section has a representative from the Joint Chapter. Current representative of the IEEE NZ North Section is Dr Mathew Legg at Massey University (m.legg@massey.ac.nz) who is also the Chair of the Joint Chapter.

IEEE NZ SP/IT Joint Chapter caters various opportunities for the relevant Society members including technical seminars, distinguish lectures, and events for networking.
